February in Paris. Mid week trip with daughter and wife. Paris on the 14th of February is a great time to visit Paris in love.
Herse d'or hotel is a great location near the Bastille,le Marais St Paul District, and walking distance to Notre Dame is 20 minutes max
The area is very central to all attractions and metro networks, which takes a while to get used to, a general lack of sign posting in stations and lines are poorly connected and the rear lines creates confusion.
The hotel has been recently refurbished and now with lift to all floors.
Clean and comfortable, double room is excellent for this part of Paris, excellent bathroom facilities, and quiet, staff are absolutely great, and friendly and welcoming, especially Aamir and Imane, who will help you with any questions about Paris, and both have great English but all tourists will find they are tri- lingual or more.

great price and stay. Stayed for one night and room was very clean and comfortable, rooms were small but as expected for city, 24hr security/reception made it feel very safe. Great area near lots of good places to go out and to eat, and in between two metro stations so connected to lots of different metro routes. Unreal place for the price of it!. no view from window.
