HORRIBLE!!. HORRIBLE!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I would give zero stars if that were an option! I have stayed at some run down places in my life but this one is one of the worst! The bathroom was full of mold and was not clean. Toilet would t flush unless you flushed about 10 times. I understand it’s an old building but something can be old yet clean and in good repair. Don’t even get me started on the smell!! We had paid for 3 nights upon check in but we barely could stay one night (my husband had to talk me down and convince me to just give it a night because he was exhausted and didn’t feel like changing)! Next morning we walked down street and got a room at the Hilton Doubletree and just basically cut our losses with this place! We were traveling with friends and they had an even worse experience than us! Save yourself time and money and just don’t book here! I highly recommend the Doubletree but I’m sure there are plenty of places that would be so much better than Hotel Valle!!. .

Great Location, but don't expect much. Staff were amazing, so lovely and helpful.
Location is fantastic, 5mins to metro Cavour and Termini, under 10min walk to the Colloseum.
Breakfast was fine, typical italian breakfast, coffee and pastries, some cerial offered too.. Our room needed lots of basic maintenance, some lights didn't work, door handle broken, shower door didn't work properly etc. We knew it would be a very basic hotel, but it is definitely not 3 star. If these simple small things were fixed it would have been much better..

BEWARE - DO NOT BOOK. I had a horrible experience at Hotel Valle and feel compelled to warn others.
I had specifically requested a crib for my 1-year-old, but upon arrival, there was none. I was told they would provide one the next day, leaving me scrambling to figure out how to safely put my baby to sleep on a bed where he could easily fall off. In trying to make the room safe, we moved the beds and were shocked to find a disgusting amount of dust and dirt. The dust was everywhere, clearly visible when the lights were on, and the room felt completely unclean. Adding to this, the ducts in the ceiling looked like they were about to fall off—hardly reassuring.
We booked a quadruple room for our family of four (two kids), but the shower was a nightmare. It was barely enough for one person, let alone children. To make matters worse, the showerhead holder was held together with tape, making it almost unusable.
When we complained to the front desk, the staff member who came up to clean the room was visibly shocked by the level of filth, which says a lot. After seeing our children itching all over, we decided we could not stay any longer and informed the front desk that we would be leaving the next day.
The staff member agreed with us and promised a refund for the remaining nights. However, after we checked out, the hotel refused to honor the refund they had promised. This was the final straw in an already dreadful experience.
For the sake of your health, safety, and peace of mind, I urge you to stay away from Hotel Valle. This place is far from family-friendly and completely unprofessional. Don't risk your vacation here!. .

HORRENDOUS!. DO NOT STAY THERE! it is nothing like the photos on their website. It is a rundown, old, uncomfortable hotel which needs a total refurbishment. We changed rooms 3 times on the day of arrival. and still ended up in a stifling room where the a/c was turned off from 12am-8am. The staff gave all sorts of excuses why it was, none of them true. it was a cost cutting measure. The carpet is threadbare, bathrooms mouldy, breakfast is rubbish, the tablecloths dirty and, unless you insist on a better room, you'll be given the worst room. Insist on the suite, further down the road in their other building, for the same price, as we did. Even then, the curtains had holes in them and hadn't been laundered for years, if ever. There were no blinds as they had been removed and the rack was on the floor behind the sofa. The whole experience was disgraceful as the receptionist was obviously trying to take advantage of our guilelessness as tourists and, if we had not disputed the rooms, we would have been stuck in the dungeon room of the hotel, no natural light, dark, dank and overlooking a dingy garbage area with steam escaping from a pipe and refuse on the ground! Stuff of nightmares!. .
