. This hotel was not only beautiful to look at, the room experience was just as amazing. I was there for a one day stay, so not nearly as long as I'd want to. However, I was impressed by the beautiful bathroom (complete with plush towels, and a nice big tub for a afternoon bath), comfortable bed, closet space, as well as the paintings and ambiance of it all. I was also very surprised by how helpful the staff was. The only negative was that the room's air conditioning was not that strong. After waiting an hour or two, my boyfriend and I were not feeling a significant difference. Thankfully Ankara cools down in the nighttime and we slept comfortably with the windows slightly open. Maybe that was just our room. Otherwise I would really recommend this hotel :). .

Great hotel with some cons.. Generally was a pleasant stay. However, guests need to bear in mind of two things:
1) Location: the hotel is located at old town part of Ankara. The streets are very narrow and will not be suitable for big vehicle, especially if you are driving. We had a BMWx3, and it's already very narrow for us.
2) Breakfast: hotel's breakfast. Quite a disappointment for such a hotel. Traditional Turkish breakfast, no doubt. However not a buffet breakfast as we were expecting. And a serving of egg only. However, you'll have to travel outside of this area for breakfast if you decided not to have breakfast here.. .

. This is a beautiful hotel located in a renovated caravanserai, in the oldest part of Ankara, next to the Citadel, and very near the Museum of Anatolian Civilization. The building is very well maintained, and really gives a sense of the past. My room was lovely. It looked out on the street, which can be a little busy during the day and has occasional barking dogs at night. (I asked for another more secluded room looking away from the street but was told these were only suites). But the street is quiet past 8pm and the dogs are not loud :) I am a light sleeper but the street did not bother me at night. I don't believe I received a special VIP treatment (Expedia's claim) but I was treated very well and I really recommend this hotel. . .

. This is a beautiful hotel and perhaps and nicest in Ankara. The caravanserai concept has been very well executed and of course the site in authentic. The public areas are very pleasing and the bar and restaurant. Rooms and ensuite and lobby are comfortable and well equipped with wifi fast enough for v/c. Position is superb and staff attentive without subservience. Service is outstanding. A benchmark against which the others can be measured but at the same price as other blander offerings. Highly recommended. .

. The hotel was very beautiful and made the most of the theme of a caravan stop. The room was very comfortable and had lovely decorations. The bathroom was very elaborate, with a big tub, shower, and two sinks. The restaurant which served breakfast was delicious and had a spectacular view. The hotel is just across from the castle and a few minutes walk from the Anatolian Museum.. .

. Great location, walking distance to the museum and castle. Decoration meets the standard of “Boutique”. The view of the restaurant is fantastic. But if you want to have a swim or a Hammam, you have to go to another hotel by 15 mins driving/taxi. In addition, the air condition doesn’t work in one room of our group. Overall, it’s a unique hotel with special design. Recommended!. .
