Oh so nice at Oh La La!. The hotel is just two minutes from Metro Bastille and ten steps from the Place de la Bastille, so very central. There are lots of cafes and bars just a few steps away and Paris Opera Bastille is on the doorstep. The Port de l'Arsenal is also just a few steps away and a great place for a morning stroll. The room is very neatly laid out, plenty of hot water, and a wonderful view over the Place de la Bastille. I found the room beautifully clean and liked that it was made up each day.. It's important to be aware that this hotel is in a traditional old style Parisien building. There is no lift and access to rooms is up a tightly winding staircase. I would suggest any elderly or infirm people consider this when booking..

Exceptional. Excellent location, metro just one step away and lots of restaurants nearby. Staff are very friendly. The room is clean and love that they provide kettle in the room.. There is no lift and you have to walk up to the room. We are aware of it when we book, hence no issue..

Wonderful stay in lovely surroundings with friendly, helpful staff.. Lovely staff, great location.. The stairs are not easy for an unfit guy like me, but this is a central Paris hotel and the aesthetics were amazing..

Superb. Easy to find and very near Bastille metro station. Very friendly staff. Cosy bar downstairs . Comfortable bed and good shower. Views of Place de Bastille from room.. The safe could only be accessed by laying on the floor.

Pleasant experience.. The location was good. Unless you have a car.. The hotel was difficult to get to, coming into Paris by car. There was no place to stop and drop our bags, and the closest parking cost 41 Euros for less than 24 hours. I understand that there was a link to the local parking, but now that I know what the parking is like in Paris, I won't bring a car again.
The rooms were sparsely decorated, and not overly comfortable. What was most disappointing was the breakfast. One of the things about staying in a good European hotel is breakfast: the beautiful array of foods -- from fresh fruits and yoghurts, to lovely pastries and breads, cheeses, etc. Having just arrived from Barcelona, and having exactly this kind of buffet in the hotel, all I can say is that this aspect of our stay was a disappointment..
