Rooms in a local hotel in a non-touristic neighborhood (Küçükçekmece) near the old Ataturk Airport. I wanted to find a hotel between flights at the New Istanbul Airport with a layover of 36 hours and thought it would be to boring to get holed up in Arnavutkoy so I opted to stay about 30-45 minutes away in Küçükçekmece. I wanted to visit a bookstore to replace my now tatty Turkish English dictionary and to sample the local cuisine on Sultan Murat street. In particular, two seafood restaurants: one on Sultan Murat (Karden Balik Evi) and one at angle to Sultan Murat on Sancak (Balikçi Fiko). If you are fed up with tourists and are a foodie, the location is ideal. Unfortunately, I had time only to dine at the first venue. I ate four fish sandwiches and one fish plate of fried mezgit (whiting) for just 70TL -- and you won't find this venue on Tripadvisor!! As for the hotel, as a transit passenger with 44 kg of luggage, I was pleased that the front desk was open for 24 hours and that the elevator functioned and was large enough to accomodate all my baggage in one go. I chose the hotel because of the hotels in the vicinity, Armoni Life (adjacent shopping centre of same name) had better reviews that others on GOOGLE [except for BH Conference & Airport hotel, which was way overpriced (I stayed there on a previous trip) and too far from the restaurants I wanted to patronize.] As for the room itself, the bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The aircon was set permanently on 24 degrees and worked well but the remote for the a/c did not function but that was not a problem for me. The frig also chilled well while it was on (provided the key is kept in the slot to keep the electice going). Other pluses include: Quick check in and check out. Green curtains around both sides of the corner room 102 blocked out 80-90% of the sunlight so you can sleep late. Relatively inexpensive stay (about 35-40 dollars per night) as the saying goes "cheap and cheerful." There were plenty of downsides that you need to pay attention to in case they would prove for you too bothersome to warrant a stay: 1. Though a non-smoking room, some smokiness was apparent and I had to open a window for two hours to freshen the room; then it was okay. 2. Absolutely no sound proofing between rooms 102 (room where I stayed) and 101. 3. Shower had no hot water. (However, the service was excellent and they fixed the problem promptly once I notified the hotel administrator.] 4. Bathroom, though fine otherwise, had some strange quirks: (a) Sink too low, Lights around mirror flashed the name of the hotel like the sign for the Bate's Hotel in Psycho rather than having a normal light with an on/off switch and (c) bathroom was uninsulated so that the heat from the sun made the space very hot during the day. 5. View on Vahit Efendi street was of a car wash that did a brisk business at night washing taxis. It was a bit noisy, Armoni life Cafe also a bit noisy but by midnight the cafe music stops at about the same time the car wash noise gets amplified 6. Window shut but did not lock closed. Despite the inconveniences, I would stay there again. Interesting neighborhood if you would prefer a non-touristic experience. Recommended with qualifications.. .

Sorunsuz ve güzel. Genel olarak her şey sorunsuz ve hızlıydı. Resepsiyonda 5 dakikadan kısa sürede giriş kartımız verildi. Odanın temizliği bir kaç küçük kusur dışında iyiydi, bunun dışında havlular daha büyük olabilirdi onunda bir eksikliği yok. Otopark problemi de yok benim için önemli olan şeyler gayet başarılıydı açıkçası.Tekrar konaklayacağım otellerden birisi oldu.. .

Memnun Kaldıkkkk. Yeni bir otel. Ekip çok candan ve nazik fakat biraz acemi. Sanırım zamanla oturacak. Odalar yeni ve şık. Fiyat orta seviyede. Aşçılar da çok başarılı yemekler yapıyor.Biz gayet memnun ayırldık.. .

Başarılı. Butik bir otel sahibi olarak otelinizi ve kafe bölümünüzü cok begendim calisan personel son derece kibar ve ilgili.Umarım bu kalitenizi arttırarak devam ettirirsiniz. Bu arada cayinizi cok begendim emegi geçenlerin ellerine saglik.. .

Beğendikkkkk. Kaldığımız oda gayet büyük ve de konforluydu ayrıca otel oldukça temizdi personelleri ilgili ve güleryüzlüydü biz sadece oda satın aldık yemek yemedik ama otelin konforu ve mevkii ne göre fiyat olarak oldukça uygundu çok memnun kaldık.Alt katında ki Bistro & Cafe eğlenceliydi.. .
