Exceeded Expectations - You Must Stay Here. This hotel was incredible; for the value, the location, the breakfast, the endless bottles of water, and the overall hospitality. We arranged a shuttle from the airport roundtrip with the hotel which was seamless. The hotel staff are beyond impressive. Serkan and his team made us feel important. They helped with every single step of the trip. They helped organize dinner reservations, boat tours, street walking tours, you name it. They spent the time to map out everything. They all speak English well. We found this was not as common so we appreciated it! The breakfast was superb! We finally were able to try gozleme. They have a woman who makes them fresh daily. Great coffee for the morning. It was my first time trying honey from a real piece of honeycomb. Yum! The location of this hotel is on point. We walked everywhere. Even to Karakoy! (You must go to the Peninsula hotel rooftop!) We walked to Eminonu to take the ferry to Kadikoy as well as all the touristy must see locations; Topkapi, Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, the Grand Bazaar, Egyptian Spice Market, etc. We selected this hotel because it had a gym. Ladies, be aware the smallest dumbbell is about 17lbs. The gym had enough to make do and we were pleased. The hotel location is great to pop down to the water for a run along Kennedy Cd. The air conditioning in the rooms works very well. The curtains are great to black out the room. We didn’t notice noise. The bed was comfortable. Rooms aren’t crazy large but we didn’t spend much time in our room. The staff was the highlight of the hotel. I have never in my travels had such caring, genuine, helpful people. I was visiting with 3 other friends (ages 33-41) for 48 hours. I recommend this hotel to anyone with a short stay wanting to see and do everything you possibly can in an area where you feel safe. Best hotel in Sultanahmet, ISTANBUL. Amazing hotel and the location is very close to Blue mosque, Hagia sofia and Basiclica cistern. The views from the terrace is really nice and we could see Sultanahmet and Marmara sea from the hotel. We could literally see the blue mosque from thr terrace and it's a wonderful sight especially at night. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay at the best location in Istanbul. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and made us feel like home.. .

An excellent choice for visiting Istanbul for the first time. Very friendly staff, who gave good tips and information. We also had a problem on the last night, which they all dealt with extremely kindly and professionally, Special thank you to Mert. Excellent location The breakfast was good with the fresh bread ring made to order!. .

If in Istanbul again I will look for different hotel. Location. Way too expensive for value Noise street and exhaust smell below balcony.

Great stay!. Myself and my 4 friends stayed for 4 nights in this wonderful hotel. Yes the rooms might be slightly dated in decor but location is amazing… within walking distance of all the main historical sites. The staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly … they genuinely couldn’t do enough for you. The rate included a lovely breakfast each morning which had a wide selection of hot and cold eats! It set you up nicely for the day. We booked an airport transfer and also a private walking tour with the hotel concierge. The hotel has a fabulous rooftop terrace with amazing views over the bosphorus and Golden Horn. There are an abundance of lovely restaurants close by . I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a perfect stay in Istanbul.. .

Great staff, great location, great breakfast and so close to main attractions. Close proximity to historical attractions. Roof top bar was closed - too early in season.

Excellent place for a few nights stay with knowledgeable staff. And everything we needed.. Hotel arranged airport transfer and return , on time and efficient. Hotel also organised a private guide to visit the tourist hot spots, Omar spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable. Pay for a guide and you save a lot of time not queuing. The concierge also recommended a Bosphorus boat tour and where to go for dinner. The Hotel Amira is in a great location, close to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia etc. Our room 202 was big and very comfortable. Buffet breakfast was plentiful with lots of fresh fruit and variety. A Turkish lady is making fresh gozleme in a small room next to breakfast room. Also we enjoyed wandering and getting lost in the many small streets that are so full of character. Every member of staff was excellent and helpful.. No complaints. Everything was great.👍.
