nice place. Friendly, clean, accessible, comfortable.. there was a subtle high bip tone in the room every 30-60 seconds and the little control leds (of the start button) of the airco and thermostaat and mirror were on all night. If you sleep like a rock it won't bother you....

Excellent location without tourists.... Location, Location, Location. There is a wonderful park nearby, no tourists, 80 or it 100? meters from the Metro. Staff are great and I know I shouldn't because it's France but everyone understood my English which did make my wife's request for a kettle very easy, and it was no problem... Room was clean, spotless bedding, well appointed bathroom (also seriously clean).. .

So much better than 2 stars. A 10 minute metro ride from the Gare de l'Est in the 19th Arr. Located in a lively neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was larger and nicer than expected. The hotel looks recently updated and well cared for.. There is no lift, so be prepared for stairs..

Superb. The staff were really lovely, welcoming, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and warm and surprisingly quiet considering it faced the main road. Really good location close to the beautiful Parc des Buttes Chaument and there are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and other places to grab some food. The bus stop and a Metro station are right next to the establishment and I was able to walk from the Gare du Nord, which took around 25 minutes or so. I will definitely return to this hotel.. .

Very comfortable. Very clean, very helpful staff. I was also able to leave my luggage there after check-out. Very clean and modern bathroom and comfy bed. Amenities provided and clean towels.. The location is not that convenient, nevertheless it is close to multiple metro stations but still quite far away from key points of the city. I would prefer also the room to be a little more cozier..

Grubby Rooms - avoid. Positive note first - Although the friendly staff were an asset , and BOLIVAR metro station a few paces away , area with shops banks and restaurants etc . Internally the rooms themselves and en suite shower room , staircase etc were all grubby . The bed sheets and blanket were clean - however the coverlet was not grease stains on it . No plug for sink , as faulty mechanism to operate it , no lamp bulb - in fact there it was _ it was not even wired - had wall fitting lamp fitting inside but disconnected ! . Mirrors and fittings broken or cracked / rusty - just a really sad experience. Toilet cystern had a crack in it , So in need of TLC and a deep clean everywhere , black mould on tile grout , No one had cleaned under the wardrobe or beside it ( on legs ) in months and months. A refit was said to concurrently happening on the floor above us - we saw and heard no activity like that at all - so I think it was v unlikely. Could hear rumbles of Metro beneath us - not too noisy but discernable . No Lift - . AVOID .. .
