Close to all the main landmarks . We really enjoyed our break in istanbal but not the hotel. If you are looking for a modern hotel with all the faciilities of a modern hotel then this is not the one. Bear in mind if you are booking a family room then most probably you'll be booked in to the annexxe part if the hotel which is at least ten minutes walk from the main hotel. So for breakfast every morning you'd have to walk 10minutes to get to the main hotel. We arrived late at night with our 3 children, we didn't expect to be taken down a few long roads on foot to get to the annexxe room. Then again going back to have breakfast, which actually made us very sad. The room it self is not too bad but what I found very annoying was when booking we were not informed/ advertised properly of how detached the room was from the main hotel. The hotel staff were very nice and polite. The breakfast was also nice but very basic. The only positive thing I could say about the hotel was that we were with in walking distance to the main landmarks like the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace etc. I would defiantly go back to Istanbal but not to the same hotel. . .

. We had a comfortable bed and great view. Very close to main attractions and excellent choice for breakfast. All members of staff were very friendly and helpful.. .

Great Little Hotel close to main sighs. A lovely clean hotel with 12 rooms, rooms are clean and comfortable, great Wifi connection is an added bonus. All the staff are fantastic, they are always helpful and have time for a chat. Great views from the terrace upstairs. The location is fantastic, no worries about walking back late at night. Staff on duty 24/7.. .

Lovely hotel 15 minute walk to Sultanamet Square. . I felt safe and relaxed in the hotel. A bit difficult to find. Lovely staff!. .

Great stay in Istanbul . Great location very close to Blue Mosque. Staff were amazing. Akeel was an amazing host and helped us out wherever he could. Would recommend this hotel. Rooms at the Annex building are a touch on the smaller side. Room preference would be the main building. Highly recommended. .

Fantastic Family setting. Hotel Sphendon is located about 5mins away from the Blue Mosque. Yet, it's quiet enough for you to rest after an exciting day of exploring. Hotel staff are respectful yet friendly. We got them to book for us a tailored trip to Cappadocia and got an amazing deal. Thank you Yunus! :). .

. Stayed in annexe with seaview. Very noisy with expressway outside window. Difficulty sleeping with so much noise even with windows shut. Room very small not 18m quoted on booking site. 5 minute walk to breakfast, staff lovely. Nice view of Mamara Sea.. .

Good location, very friendly staff . We were delighted to stay in this hotel, with walking distance to the major touristic sites (blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, grand bazar ...etc), the breakfast was good, the staff was very friendly and so helpful with very good advice especially Yunus who helped us a lot and gave us precious advices about places to visit and how to travel. The hotel is a good value for money. Would definitely recommend. . .
