. This is advertised as a 4-star, but I would say it is at best a good 3-star by European standards. Somewhat dated, with water stain in ceiling of my room. Great individual AC. Friendly and helpful staff at front desk. Breakfast options are limited, but some variation from day to day. In general very clean, except plates, cups and cutlery at breakfast, which all had remains from previous meals. Apparently just a quick wash in bar sink.. .

. Hotellino was a lovely place to stay. It’s a short hop over to Sirkeci train station and the tram line, making it super easy to get around Istanbul. The properly itself was quite dated, and could use some renovations although it was perfectly fine for a few nights in the city. The rooms were on the smaller side. The breakfast was very simple, and delicious. Only shower gel and shampoo were provided, bring all other toiletries. There is a resident cat named Sofia who was super cute. . .

Always reliable!. This has been a go-to hotel for me for at least a decade. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the location is great for sightseeing and access to public transit, and the street is quieter than most in this neighborhood.. .
