Decent central budget hotel. It's fine. Reading a lot of reviews here would give you a really skewed idea - actually it was more than fine. Rooms were clean and reasonably recently decorated, staff were helpful, wifi and aircon worked, area is nice and has a lot of good bars and small restaurants. If you want a luxury experience... well, you'd need to pay a lot more for somewhere this central. But we stayed for a week and had a great time, with none of the issues reported by others here. . .

Perfect for overnight prior to TGV. We needed an overnight stay near Gare du Lyon. This was perfect. Delightfully classic French. Our small but big enough room on 5th floor with double glazing gave us a very quiet comfortable night. Clean, good beds. Bathroom stylish gave us a laugh. The shower door was opening inwards which meant you couldnt close it unless you were a stck man! Turns out you have to give it a good tug to open outwards. Ah well, next time. We had the buffet breakfast which we enjoyed. The staff were welcoming and professional. We left refreshed ready for our long journey. A perfect reasonably priced stay.. .

Adequate place to stay for the Gare de Lyon.. Convenient for the Gare de Lyon. Adequate facilities. Readily looked after our luggage after check-out while we went sight-seeing.. Small pokey room. Rather basic facilities. Rather offhand welcome. Limited breakfast offering..

Excellent for short stay break. Friendly, helpful manager on reception who could speak fluent English. Night manager also friendly and helpful. Retro lift and a bit of a squeeze with just two people! But great location for the station and loads of restaurants and cafes/bars around. Breakfast was good too. Our room was clean and comfortable with a decent view over the rooftops of Paris.. .
