Nice staff & close to Vatican, but very uncomfortable and cold showers. Not recommended.. Friendly staff, location was very close to Vatican entrance.. I know this is a budget range hotel, but it was disappointing and very uncomfortable. The beds were hard and worn out, with a sagging mattress and rock hard flattened pillows. They were like hospital beds and we got very little sleep each night.
The soundproofing is poor and we could hear clearly outside our door throughout the night. Every conversation or door closing was very loud.
The worst part however was the lack of hot water. We only had warm water with very low pressure on our first morning, the 2nd and 3rd morning there was NO hot water even after waiting several hours. It was cold weather, so we had to "bathe" with wet towels. On the 2nd day the staff said they were working on the boiler so we just needed to wait for it to fill up, but this was after 11:00am and we had waited since 9:00. Same issue on our final morning, only cold water after waiting. So we had to fly home without a shower in the last 48+ hours.
Would never return here..

Lovely Hotel. Lovely hotel in a great location beside the vatican. The breakfast. Mainly the coffee which really wasn't nice and that ruined breakfast!! Especially when in Rome!

Nice place to stay and explore Rome!. The room was clean and well-kept. The location was excellent, close to the Vatican Museum, restaurants, shopping, and St. Peter's Square. An excellent starting point for exploring Rome!. Breakfast was good, but, a little pricy..
