Central location, but needs urgent renovation.. The location is central (walking distance to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern). The buffet breakfast is medium, the same in the 4 days we stayed, just cheese, simple omlette, spinach pastry, some type of salami and fruits (what I didn't like was the fact that they didn't refill the plate if something finished). The hotel has NO parking. Even if I arrived late at night and I found a parking spot on the street, the next morning I had to urgently move the car (a person was waiting near the car and lifted my wipers) and had to park in a nearby private parking for 50 euros for the remaining 3 days. The hotel needs serious restorations ( or at least the room I stayed). Firstly, when I entered, there was a strong smell of naphtalene. One of the beds was crooked (curved), there was mold on the bathroom ceiling, the water pressure was very low, and...on top of all that, there is a lamp near the sink which electrocuted me when I touched it by mistake. To be honest, if one of the hotels nearby were vacant at that time, I would have moved. The only reason I gave it a 5 is the location and the receptionist who is trying to be helpful, otherwise, I would have given it a 1 due to the health hazards..

Very run down place. Good location and the person in the reception tries to help but it should be the last alternative. It’s a very ugly place, poor installation and smells.

So far the worst hotel we have ever been to!. The only good point was the location, which was 10 minutes walking from the Sultan Ahmed square.. We chose a double room with a sea view, we arrived late at night and at the same time we got in the room, we wanted to leave. But there was nobody at the hotel reception that could help us. Yusuf, the owner, sent us a message before check-in time advising he needed to be with his family and we could self check-in. It was ok, but as it says the reception is open 24/7 we thought someone would be there, just in case. Well, about the room, the shower box was very dirty and clogged, so when we took a shower it overflowed. A few minutes after we got there, my husband, who is dust allergic, started to feel his nose and eyes itchy. When going to bed, we turned the lights off and switched our mobile phone flashlight on and at this time we could see lots of dust in the air. We sent a message to Yusuf explaining the situation and asking to change rooms, he advised we could change in the morning, after breakfast. Well, we changed rooms and this one was less worse, but not good. This room was also dusty. The shower box was also dirty and the its door was broken and not with the correct fit, as it was not possible to close it properly. Also, I tried to open the bathroom window and the doorknob was broken and it fell on my hand. Also the toilet flush was not working, but Yusef fixed it the next day. Now, about the breakfast, it was very basic, 1 option of bread, no cereal, very artificial cakes and every day it was the same. Also there were just 2 tables available, not enough for all the guests (one of the days we needed to bring our breakfast to eat in the room). I also need to comment the sea view, yes we "could see the sea from there", but be aware, it not as expected. 😆 Definitely it was not worth the money we paid for it and made our experience in Istanbul a bit less pleasant..
