Disappointed with the Way Things Were Handled during our Stay. The facility was clean and comfortable.. The staff, Jesus Christ, I had never experienced such service my whole life staying in different places across the globe.
I was shocked and upset. I will elaborate on this here below:
1 - We were out till late, when we got to the hotel, we pressed the intercom, the staff member took all his time (it might have been up to 10 minutes) to let us in (I was terrified). When he was questioned on why it took him so long to let us in, he said he had to check on the camera to see who is at the door, sure, and fair enough, but it took too long. Not only that, he did not apologise, as if it was ok what he did, thank God we are very knowledgeable with customer service professional ethics...some people can't handle it.
2 - We were having breakfast, and a staff member approached us, stating that their colleague at Reception would like to see us. I wondered what has gone 🤔 wrong. I decided to go to Reception to understand what the issue was. I was told that they've tried to make a pre-authorisation from my card and it didn't go through. I asked "why a pre-authorisation in the middle of of my stay?, the reply was "that is the protocol".
I said this was not explained to me during check-in, so do you mean your colleague did not give us the right information about processes in your facility during check-in? The staff member I was interacting with emphasised it is the protocol to make pre-authorisation during guests' stays. I then said ok, I am upset, because had I been told there is a pre-authorisation mid-stay, I would have made the funds available to avoid it declining the transaction, I had made funds available for going around only, and it cannot make payment for the hotel bill..

Great. Christmas decorations were fantastic - the kids loved it! Hotel was spacious, bright, clean and the staff were friendly.. Location might be tricky to reach if not going by car.

Great hotel for families enjoying Disneyland. Second time staying here. Perfect place to stay near to disneyland with the kids. There's a good restaurant on site and also 2 great Pizza and American restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the hotel.. .
