Awful night's sleep. Had a terrible night's sleep here. What's thinner than paper walls/ceilings? All night kept up by people in above room just walking around which sounded like banging. Then could hear all the showers, taps, stirring of mugs! Awful way to start my trip. Staff weren't friendly either. Shame as it took me forever to decide on a hotel in this area and thought I chose well. Could have had the same experience and paid less for it! No mirror in room either. Wouldn't recommend.. .

Passable. The room smelled of chemicals so much that we had to keep the balcony door open the whole evening. And even after this, the smells did not go vanish.. The smell of cleaning chemicals. It was very very strong and it was impossible to get rid of it..

Hotel canal Olimpia . The hotel was good for relaxing at night 20 minutes walk from train station straight into Barcelona. The room we had was spacious but needed a makeover as a bit dated but as we only used it for sleeping it was fine.bed very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was okay if you want continental for €9 per head.restuarant was there but not opened during the day or night when it states from 7.30 am to 10.00 pm. 15 minutes walk to the beach no shops or anything close.. .

two overnight stays at this hotel with Shearings. Arrived here very late on Sat. 21 Sept due to problems with flights, had a job to check in as man at reception had difficulty finding information about us. Breakfast o.k. in the morning, room comfortable, the last day as we left the hotel at 5 a.m. handed a packed lunch!! Consisted of one bread roll with chorizo and one apple, a carton of juice and a small bottle of water. Is that the best you can do. I host visitors from all over Europe and the Arabic countries and I would be ashamed to give them a packed lunch like that. We did not find the staff on reception very friendly, would not recommend this hotel.. .
