Great location in a 150 year palazzo. Convenient location, the FIRST HOTEL in Rome to accept pets. I aways support them or their sister hotel.. They didn't disclose that Breakfast was extra. No big deal as it pretty much equals a croissant and cappucino anyplace else. And it had cereal, buns,meat, cheese so good value..

Lovely Hotel but one disappointment. . A beautiful old villa in central Rome. Family owned and a very good base for visitors who wish to explore Rome. There is a lovely little garden at the side offering cool relaxation. The breakfasts in what would have been a main reception room, I'm guessing, are very good with friendly and attentive staff. All the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient in fact. So no complaints at all there. I do though, I'm sad to say, have one complaint. Though our room was adequate, the bed comfortable and quiet and cool at night the bathroom has seen better days. It is a decent size, the basin, toilet and bidet are fine but the shower was awful. It is in a bath which I personally don't like but will accept without complaint if it works well. This one didn't. The bath is stained and worn out and the shower door rusted and not at all pleasant looking, although the house keepers did do an excellent job of cleaning in general so I do not fault them. The shower itself was the hose from the taps type and could not be fixed in place to have a shower as the holder was loose, but had to be hand held. I did ask if there were any alternative rooms available, even if at an extra cost, but I was disappointed. A refurbishment is desperately needed. There is room for a luxurious walk in shower or at least a new bath and good shower with a riser. My wife couldn't reach the wall hanger even if it had worked. We were only there for four nights so the inconvenience was minimal and it was the only thing which disappointed us. I would still recommend Hotel Villa Delle Rose but would advise that people perhaps check the actual room allocated at the booking stage. I like to believe this is an exception. We stayed here once before about twenty years ago with our young children, but only for two night to get a flavour of Rome before our trip north so we chose it again for all the positive reasons I have listed.. .

Thank you for the nice stay in Rome. The breakfast was nice, with delicious croissants and cakes. The location was more than perfect, less than 3 minutes to the station. The staff are helpful and kind. The only drawback I would say was the small size of the toilet, but of course, you can live with that. But it was clean, and the room was clean. All the comments that you will read here about this hotel are not true at all and are unfair. People are exaggerating. If I come to Rome again, I will definitely stay at Villa delle Rose.. I liked everything..

Great place to stay. Great place to stay! Very close to station Termini and 20-30 min walk distance from some of the popular places. Very recommend Villa Delle Rose Hotel. The staff is very friendly and helping with all necessary information! If you request breakfast it is 5 euro, a garderн is amazing you can have your cappuccino there!. .

Lovely little hotel.. I had a great stay. The hotel has simple standard, but at the price I did not expect luxory. I liked my room, too. I had trees and palms as my view and woke up to the birds singing. The room was clean, nice and the staff was really, really friendly. I stayed for 5 nights and it was great to be close to the metro and busses that took me all over Roma with ease. Thank you. I might absolutely be back some day!. .
