ok.. I asked for a room change and they accommodated this. Reason being room was tired, worn out and no sound insulation.. General run down and dated and pictures don't show the general aesthetic of the hotel.

Birthday Weekend. Upon arrival at the hotel we were checked in swiftly, the receptionist was polite welcoming and very accommodating. We were given our keys explained about the premises and location of the breakfast area. We were asked if we wanted assistance with our luggage ( as I never travel light) but we were happy to take them ourselves. Walking through the courtyard so beautiful so Parisian to the ‘Gauguin’ building. Clean surroundings, entered the room exceeded my expectations, and a balcony at the end of the room! So French I was in my element. The bathroom well present beautiful shower/hand wash, details matter. Facilities in the room: a petit dishwasher/ microwave and a hob if one wished to cook a little, not for me. Unpacked plenty of hangers room for his/her wardrobe. Slippers to walk in the room as it’s a no sheo policy for me. King size bed beautiful coordinated furnishings.
Breakfast was an array of French croissants and petit pastries, through to fresh fruit/juice. The full breakfast for the ones who need more than fruit. An abundance and an amazing selection again greeted with a smile.
Ouassila, smily face accommodating and friendly even when the drizzle did not care everyone else I needed an umbrella, she knew! Henique who checked us in, greeted
us with a smile and was again extremely helpful with maps for the local area and directions. Overall, I would without as shadow of doubt return to this hotel. Location was perfect quiet but easy for the Metro St-Sebastian Froissart 2mins from the hotel but plenty near by. The Marais district direct across the road ten minute walk to the Pablo Picasso museum which is a must. Surrounded by cafes restaurants patisseries supermarkets. I could go on and on. I will return when the summer blooms in Paris and stay longer than just a weekend.. .

Exceptional. Location is fantastic, close to supermarkets and cafes also a Metro stop which easily opens up the rest of Paris..
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I'd definitely stay again.. A free bottle of Cremant upon arrival. Or am I pushing my luck too far.....:).

Exceptional. Everything was amazing since the min we checked in the staff were very welcoming...convenient location close to bars and restaurants and metro station the room is huge and very sunny and clean
Furniture is new and bed was very comfy
I'd definitely stay here if I come to paris again. Nothing.
