Disappointing. This hotel is in a state of flux with serious problems in maintenance & management. On arrival the included breakfast quoted on the original reservation was denied, and only provided when our travel agent generously covered the cost. A special breakfast she also ordered & paid for, a birthday surprise, never happened. The air conditioning broke, leaving us with 3 days of an unbearably hot room with only a fan. Upon our early AM checkout I requested management contact me to discuss our concerns. No one was courteous enough to even respond. Kudos to the Michelin starred restaurant on the property-truly five star in every respect & an unforgettable dinner experience.. .

They Stole from our bedroom! Do not stay. DO NOT STAY! THEY STOLE FROM US** I recently stayed at The H’all Tailor Suite with my fiancé. First of all, this is not a 5 star hotel.. it is more equivalent to a 3 star. The accommodations were nice, but definitely not 5 star. I am appalled by the way we were treated while staying there. My fiancé and I left for the day and when we came back that evening I noticed my wallet was gone and his $200 power bank stolen as well. I made sure earlier in the day to take my license, credit card, and bank card with me and switch them into my small purse. So luckily those were not stolen, however my global entry card, $50 cash, and a couple other credit cards were stolen. I am aware that I did not put the power bank or wallet in a safe, thus that is my responsibility. But when we searched for help from the hotel staff they were awful! Reception did not speak much English, which I was very understanding of so I used Google translate, but the one guy would read what I wrote and then ignore/dismiss my questions and turn around to his colleague to continue speaking Italian in front of me. All I wanted were answers as to how it was stolen. They refused to help us call the police and no manager would answer their phone. The receptionist finally got through to who I thought was a manager, but was just his coworker Elisabeth. She got on the phone with me and said “that is impossible for something to be stolen from your room and it’s not our problem.” What kind of response is that?! My fiancé and I finally reached out to the police ourselves when we found the phone number, however we were unable to file a report at the station the next morning because we had a flight early. We emailed management and they were just as unhelpful as their staff. Not Once, did someone ask me what my wallet or the power bank looked like and Not Once did someone say they would let me know if it turns up. Again, I understand I left it out of the safe, but there is still a certain amount of respect and hospitality that I think guests deserve, especially when we’re paying whatever amount to stay in a “5 star hotel;” as they call themselves. Bottom line DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to be treated poorly or accused of stealing your own things.. .

Depressing and disappointing! So dissapointing; the opposite of luxurious. A 3 star experience very disappointing. Very bad management and cheap facilities Such a depressing place.

A lovely hotel with superb front desk staff, probably the best I have ever been looked after by.. The property is in a good suburb in Rome close to a metro station, 15 min walk to Prato and 25 min walk into the centre of Rome. The entrance to the hotel is up a small flight of stairs inside a courtyard/carpark. Inside the building is airy and full of light, with the main desk just inside the door. The property has a Michelin starred restaurant and is clean and simple and sophisticated in its decoration. The staff. The staff, especially those on the front desk, are excellent. I was looked after by everyone at the property and felt like I was coming home to a place where people were pleased to see me. Also the breakfast staff, chef and waitperson, made sure that I was looked after. All tolerated my attempts to speak a little Italian. This is a hotel I would stay at again.. There wasn’t anything I disliked about the property..

A charming small hotel in a perfect location, but with some serious downsides.. The hotel is very small and charming. Its biggest advantage is the wonderful location—just a 3-minute walk from Piazza del Popolo. The breakfast is truly amazing, with a great selection of fresh food. Another nice touch is the daily room cleaning, which keeps everything tidy.. 1. The bathroom situation is a nightmare. It’s separated by a glass partition that doesn’t close properly, offering zero privacy—you can hear and see absolutely everything. 2. The room is quite worn out. The bed creaks as if it’s about to collapse, and the chairs are wobbly. 3. There was a fire alarm during our stay. We were told it was a “false alarm,” but the entire hotel smelled of smoke, and it even reached our room. If there ever is a real fire, don’t expect anyone to come wake you up or help. After a complaint to Booking, the hotel apologized with a bottle of champagne..
