We chose this hotel for its design – I’m a decorator myself and love beautiful places. We were expecting inspiration and aesthetic pleasure from this trip. The interiors and the guests were indeed beautiful. But that’s where the good part ended.
From the very first moment, we encountered terrible service. We arrived with three suitcases for two people, and when we asked for help with our luggage, the response was a question: “Are you ill?” It got even better: they explained that if I wasn’t ill, why should they help, and if I was ill, then I shouldn’t even be at the hotel.
Then I asked about the hotel restaurant. They told me there wasn’t one, but I could have lunch at a restaurant across the street. With a smile, they added that it was “almost always fully booked.” When I asked why the hotel didn’t notify guests in advance about this, the response was: “That’s not our job.”
Before arriving, I had received a guide to Paris via email, but no warning that I might end up hungry because the restaurant needed to be reserved in advance. The area around the hotel was unsafe, so we stayed in our room, eating peanuts for dinner. We hoped to at least enjoy the beauty of the interiors, but even that wasn’t possible.
I wanted to take a few photos for personal use, but I was told this was only allowed in the room. The reason? Someone had paid €1600 for a photo shoot, and the hotel now forbids guests from taking pictures in public areas.
The next morning, I tried to clarify this rule, only to be informed that photography was not allowed anywhere, period. And this in a place that markets itself as inspiring and beautiful!
Overall, I was left with the impression that this hotel pushes guests away instead of creating enjoyable experiences. Ironically, the beauty of the interiors was completely overshadowed by poor service and indifference from the staff..

Lovely hotel, nice people, super convenient location, but some small rooms. Breakfast great selection of high quality food - the tables are a little cramped. Our room was very small this time - hard to walk around the bed when you have a lot of luggage - for the price would have expected bigger - we've had bigger rooms before.
