The room size and location were ideal for us. Would stay here again, and longer, next time in Rome!. Great urban nightlife location! Great restaurants and bars nearby. More of a local vibe. Yes there is grafitti on some buildings, but added to the charm. Never felt unsafe as a solo female out walking at night alone. Would stay in this area and place again. Staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. They arranged taxi to the airport and made great restaurant recommendations and reservations.. No elevator access. Thankfully located on the second floor, but be prepared to carry your luggage up some stairs. If you're a light sleeper, yes, it can be a little loud at night. It comes with the age of the building and location, I always pack earplugs regardless and slept great!.
