Unlucky cancellation, no compensation. It was meant to be a birthdaytrip for my father. Sadly he had an accident a few weeks before the planned stay, which made it impossible for him to travel. So I reached out to the hotel to ask if there is a possibility to cancel the hotel or if it's possible to reduce the cancellation costs (which was the complete price of the stay). They didn't offer any compensation or change of dates and didn't show any understanding for the situation, we had to pay the total of the stay, which didn't feel fair or social.. .

Excellent three-night stay. A friendly greeting from Fabio on reception. We were a bit early, so our room wasn’t ready. We left our bags. Fabio rang me as soon as the room was ready. When we returned later, we were shown to our room by Maggie. Our bags were waiting for us in the room.
Location is a couple of blocks from the airport bus-stop on Plaça Catalunya, in a quiet business area. They don’t serve breakfast, but there are loads of coffee shops, in all directions, nearby for breakfast (Vivara was good and Café Casp). When I booked, I asked for a room not facing the street. I was advised that none of their rooms face the street. Which takes away a big concern when staying somewhere for the first time.
The building looks like it was very recently refurbished. Very quiet internally. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. There is a complementary 24/7 coffee machine.
The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean too. The bed was very comfortable.
There is a fridge and a safe in the room.
We will definitely be back!. .

Very quiet spot in a central location. Excellent location, lots of sights within easy walking distance but very quiet inside the hotel. Really loved having the outside space provided by the terrace.. Liked everything about Hotel Omnium.

Modern & Cosy in the heart of Barcelona. We had such a lovely stay. The hotel and room were both modern and cosy. The staff were very helpful and there is a great breakfast/ brunch place right across the road. In a nice area and only 25 minutes away from the airport by taxi.. .

Hotel is in safe, clean neighbourhood with laundry facilities across the road.
Lovely tea and coffee making facility with yummy little complimentary cakes!
Reception staff full of smiles and very helpful.

Not good for the money given.. The location is good and the staff tries to help.. First of all, we couldn't use WiFi. We asked them twice but nothing changed. Soap and shower gel were the worst I have ever seen. Poor quality and very hard to be washed off. Hair dryer worked for 20 secs and then paused for a minute..
