Great boutique hotel not quite a 5*.. I would describe this as a boutique hotel. It’s situated about a 10 min walk to the Colloseum and a 15 min walk to the Trevi Fountain.
It’s a 5* hotel but I would probably classify it as a 4*+.
On arrival we received a warm welcome from the reception staff. Despite arriving at about 1130 our room was available which was great and allowed us to dump our bags and get sorted before heading off to explore the city. We booked a junior suite with balcony with city view. A couple of points on this. The room was not as big as I expected after looking at the pictures. What was good was that there was a dividing wall between the main bedroom and the seating area, which meant our 16 Year old had some privacy. The bathroom was small with no window and so was dark as only a small dot spot light in shower and a wall light. The complimentary gels and soaps were Aqua Parma which was good. There is nowhere to really hang wet towels or to store anything.
There was hardly any wardrobe space. The little cupboard there was also housed the safe and the mini fridge. Any long trousers or dresses had to rest on the top of the safe and so wasn’t ideal.
Despite a controller in the wall there was no air conditioning and there was also a keycard holder which would usually control light but not in this room
The breakfast is great and a good choice of options including fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cakes, meats, cheeses as well as eggs bacon and sausage.
All staff we came across were extremely helpful and friendly.
We liked the hotel, it was comfortable and nice.. .

Beautiful boutique hotel, tucked away. Beautiful boutique hotel, small and elegant and tucked away on a little side street. Just a few minutes walk down a cobbled lane to restaurants and the nearby Colosseum. Around 15 minutes walk in the other direction to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and a little further on to the Pantheon.
Very attentive and polite staff, room kept very clean, beautifully decorated and from our room we had a stunning view of the church behind.
Breakfast, served 7am-11am, was also great, with a selection of hot and cold food.
We ate in the restaurant one evening - food was a little pricey but it is fine dining so to be expected. A nice touch to offer a complimentary prosecco too.. For the star rating of the hotel it would have been nice to have complimentary refreshments in the room, over and above the free bottle of water on the first night only. The water was not replenished, and despite a coffee machine being provided the coffee was chargeable, there was no kettle or tea and as a Brit I did miss having a cuppa in my room!.

No air conditioning. Air conditioning shut down for the season and we cannot open the windows. Too warm to sleep and it is miserable. Let this be a warning. Ask if the air conditioning will be available during your stay prior to making your vacation reservations.. .

Great location near colosseum Roman forum trevi fountain. Staff were all fabulous extremely friendly helpful and pleasant. Breakfast buffet was lovely ..good cocktails in bar too .😊. .

5 star treatment. Took my best friend here for her birthday and very glad I did, from the moment we arrived the staff couldn’t do enough to help us, rooms were lovely, comfy bed and toiletries taken care of , we ate in the restaurant the second night and the food was delicious , I would highly recommend and it’s within walking distance to all the tourist attractions lilt Fontana di Trevi , pantheon, colosseum and the Spanish steps. .
