Good. close to gare du nord. unfortunately the noise level from the street made it quite difficult to sleep.

Great location, horrible cockroaches.. Great location for Gare du Nord and on the surface the hotel looks nice enough. Bright and interesting decor, although a very strange smell in the entrance. I was staying for work so a colleague and I had a double room each. On returning from dinner around 11pm i went into my room (502) to notice a bug on the ceiling. I swotted it before noticing another one. This one ran away. I realised they were cockroaches. I looked under the bed and saw at least 3 more but couldn't reach them. A tiny one ran out and i killed it. I called my colleague to ask what to do and she came to see, we spotted more instantly, and i opened up the bedside table with the safe only to find a really big one next to the hairdryer. I took a photo but it came out blurry due to the flash. I went down to reception and using google translate managed to convey my horror and ask for either another room or at least a fly swot or bug spray, but was only offered clean bedlinen, which wasn't any use. I was so disgusted with the cockroaches i'd seen, let alone the ones i hadn't, that i asked to sleep on my colleagues floor. It was a terrible nights sleep and since reporting the incident to the manager have been told that no traces of cochroaches have been found in that room - despite me explaining where on the carpet they'd be able to find the bodies of the ones i managed to get. Hugely disappointing as I paid for 2 rooms but only used 1. Avoid.. .

Nice but needs some work in the bathrooms.. We booked two rooms for our family. The hotel could be very nice, the rooms were small but clean and furnished nicely, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good, but a bit small in variety. However the gentleman managing breakfast was very friendly and helpful. The major thing bringing the review down for us was the bathrooms in the rooms. They are in desperate need of renovation. They were clean, but just old and need a lot of updating. The shower in one of our rooms was tiny- room 200 be specific. I am not exaggerating when I say I have seen phone booths that had more square footage then this shower- I am not sure if it was over 20”x20” If you dropped the shampoo or body wash bottle, you have to open the door to have space to move and pick it up- oh no shelf to put the soap or bottles on. Also the water went from an ok temperature to scalding hot in an instant.. .

Very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was everything we needed it to be for our short stay. Location was very convenient. Appreciated that we could leave our bags that for a few hours.. Sure, the room was small. But it was exactly what I expected so not really a big deal..
