. One gets what one pays for! Due to Hotel Picardy being adjacent to Gare du Nord, i chose this particular hotel. Because it was inexpensive relative to other nearby hotels, I understood that I would be staying somewhere 'downmarket' - but for three nights, I was very happy to put up with it! The hotel is clean and tidy, but my room was extremely tiny, with very limited facilities -as I expected! The concierge was utterly unhelpful and I had to come to the aid of an American couple because the staff were simply unwilling to help them! I did not expect much - and I received very little! If you want a cheap, clean hotel, then this will suffice - if, however, you desire those little extras that can be important to some people, I suggest that you look elsewhere! Clean hotel - shame about the service!. .

. I loved the property, the only bad thing I have is that even if you rent a single bed they don’t let you have any visitors for a couple hours. . .

. Lo unico bueno es la cercania con la estación gare du nort. Fue una experiencia mala. Eso de que hay ratas en paris.... bueno, nos salio una en la habitación! Todo un show!, terrible. El desayuno, terrible. Lo habian dejado de poner, y solo improvisaron pan duro, con un solo croissan y lo que habia en la maquina de cafe. El staff, amable... pero poco podian hacer con lo que tenian. No vuelvo. . .

The hotel is right across the train station and good local restaurants prices are fair.The bad side is housekeeping didn’t make our rooms until 5pm and we were there 2weeks and never got cleaned sheets.you get what you pay for I guess. We will definitely come back to Paris but not this hotel we will pay more for better service.I did like that we had hot water and some breakfast items.. .

Awful customer service. Was visiting Paris with friends. Upon arrival even though i stressed when booking we needed seperate beds we found our room had obly a double bed. We were offered a different room which was much appreciated but once we were settled in our new room we discovered that the toilet did not work. We do not like to complain but when we raised this issue with reception we were greeted with a very rude response. The problem was never rectified which contributed to a less than perfect stay.. .

. Staff member on desk was awesome. Hotel was bad. So so old and dated. Felt unclean. Curtains fell off the wall when I tried to close them . .

. Basic hotel right opposite Gare du Nord. Despite the poor reviews we found our room to be adequate with clean sheets, a comfortable bed and a warm shower. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Fine for a short stay. . .

. Near the Gare du Nord station. The facility is really old and flush on toilet is barely working. The elevator is sometimes not working to be ready to use the narrow stairs. Overall fine for a one night stay due to affordable price. .
