Unsatisfactory Hotel Experience. Hello. It wasn’t noisy because of the traffic outside, but because of the noise coming from another room—a baby was crying constantly since 5:00 AM. I couldn’t sleep at all. The hotel space is really not good. I had booked the hotel for my parents and myself, and they were not satisfied at all. I felt so sorry and embarrassed in front of my parents for choosing this hotel. I suggest staying for a shorter period but choosing a better hotel.. .

Budget hotel in Paris. Solo female traveller. The hotel is 10 min walk to the metro and easy to connect to central Paris. Lidl supermarket nearby. The room was clean, tidy and the bed was comfortable. The are can look rough but I had no problems with anybody. You cannot beat the price, really.. .

Disappointing stay. Staff were friendly. Hotel was affordable. Room was reasonable size for price paid and was clean. Bed was comfortable.. The area was the worst part. Lots of homelessness nearby with people sleeping under the bridge or in their cars on the same street as the hotel. We did not feel safe walking at night as we got a lot of harassment from these people during the day when walking through/past these areas to get to the metro. We got taxis in the evening for safety. The sink to wash your hands were next to the bed in the bedroom and not in the toilet area. The doors to the rooms and toilet slam shut and are creaky, and there is little if any sound proofing, meaning any movement in any if the nearby rooms wakes you in the night. It was so bad that we looked at other hotels to stay on the first nice but ultimately we decided to save our money and suck it up. It was incredibly warm to sleep in at night and we both kept waking up sweating - we discovered the beds had plastic sheeting under the cover which we feel is why it was so hot. We couldn't leave the window open for long as there was no safety/security latch. The breakfast is not worth the price as there is minimal selection - cereal, croissant and ham/cheese is all it was limited to. I know this is a budget hotel but to say we were disappointed is an understatement..

Terrible night staff. Night staff is terrible, ignorant and not helpful. My wife wanted to ask about checkout and when she said hello he replied with ‘what’ and we could tell he didn’t want to talk. She asked anyway and we got ‘not our problem, checkout is checkout’. .

Cheap,clean and comfortable. If you are after a four star experience you would be better off paying more, if you want a clean, comfortable and cheap room with good transport connections then this hotel is a good choice. I have stayed at Ibis Budget hotels in France and the UK many times. Yes, the area is probably not the best in Paris but I felt safe. I found reception staff to be friendly…if you treat them with respect. Maps of Paris were freely available on reception and staff tried their best to answer my questions. The big plus here is the microwave free to use in reception- great for heating up your meals. Don’t bother with buying meals to heat from the hotels vending machine where an Hamburger currently costs €7.00, instead go to Lidl supermarket a good 8 minutes walk behind the hotel where ready made meals cost from €2.00 upwards. Get your meals and food from there and take back to the hotel. Rooms are functional but comfortable, beds might be a little hard for some. Ask nicely for a room at the back of the hotel, not the front as it borders on the Peripheral Road that circles Paris - and the traffic goes along the road all day and night. Good heating but I could not see any air conditioning which is a must in the hotter summer months. Book an hotel instead with air conditioning in summer. Breakfast typical of most budget chains in France; baguette, brioche, fresh apples, ham, Emmental cheese slices, cornflakes,tinned fruit salad, juices and good coffee. A good bakers is a 4 minutes walk behind the hotel if you want a cheaper do it yourself option. If you like a good street market there is one almost on your doorstep at weekends - mostly a flea market but expect hawkers trying to sell you what looked like original apple AirPods- if you barter well enough you will get a pair for €10, expect too fake designer watches and cheap packets of contraband cigarettes. Not a place for ladies to walk through on their own, however there is a Police presence and it is safe to visit this lively experience. If you are travelling to the hotel from CDG airport by train, metro and tram, it takes from 45 minutes to 90 minutes to get to the hotel depending on how busy it is. This is my third time staying at this hotel and would visit again, ideal for the budget conscious traveller.the party. .
