THREE STAR HOTEL WITH FIVE STAR TREATMENT. My third stay at this marvelous hotel and it once again excelled. Comfortable, clean, fantastic staff and superb food at breakfast and dinner. Thanks again Rosa Nautica for another great stay.. Nothing.

Food & Public areas exceptional quality, rooms adequate & clean, wonderful location. my flight was delayed by bad weather in Barcelona and I just managed to catch the last train from Barcelona Sants which was late & arrived at Malgrat station around 00.30. I phoned reception mid afternoon and again late evening to confirm reception would be open (actually 24/7) and a helpful clerk checked me in & showed me to my room. When I woke I had a full sea view from the balcony, room was adequate but no T&C or fridge. comfy bed, bath tub! plenty of HW and storage space. tv with 2 UK channels. public spaces decorated & furnished like a 4* hotel and the food was of very high quality- better than many 5*’s I have stayed in. nice pool, sheltered from breezes, always plenty of sunbeds. hotel at centre of activity with kiosks selling boat & bus trips (including Girona & BCN airports), information centre for Malgrat in building, bus stop right outside front door. noisy at weekends but quiet during week in October. local folklore festival during my stay with road closed & shows staged outside hotel entrance! helpful staff, scrupulously clean - thoroughly recommended & would stay again. .

Likely the Only Review You Need to Read. We stopped here at the end of September 2025 and the weather was generally good, 20-23 degrees, most of the time sunny with a bit of cloud and breeze. Resort I am starting here as much of your decision as to whether to come here may be based on what you want from a resort. In my view Malgrat de Mar has been tainted by tourism. Shop after shop is full of the same souvenir items and explicit slogan t-shirts. There is graffiti almost everywhere. If you want a quaint Spanish town this is not it! That said there are some highlights that I will cover off later in the review. My recommendation would be to either stop in Santa Susannah which has a little more visual appeal, or just use Malgrat as a base to visit other areas via the train service that runs through it. Hotel The hotel is nice, we really liked it. It is spotlessly clean and is in a really good location. The bar area is nice serving cocktails, sangria, beer and hot drinks. The pool area is pleasant with plenty of chairs and loungers and it is a good sun trap during the day. There are 2 small lifts to use to get you to your floor. Staff at reception were very helpful and maids came each day to make the beds and do a general room clean. Overall it is a good value hotel that I would definitely consider staying at again as a base to see more of this region. Room The rooms are adequate and modern enough with a decent balcony area to soak up some rays. The beds are firm but we found we slept ok and got used to them after a few nights. Our room was on the side of the hotel on the 5th floor and gave us a view of the sea, partial view of the pool area and down the onto the road. We did some good people watching of an evening. There is a fridge in the room which is great as you can get some drinks and snacks in from the nearby Spar shop. There can be some noise from the road and of course the train that runs by until late into the evening, but that never really bothered us. Food We had breakfast and dinner, and we found the food to be very good. Breakfast was 8:00-10:00 and is your typical continental with some bacon and other hot items thrown in. Dinner served at 19:30-20:30 was good, there was variation each day and all of it was tasty and well made. For the price we paid we thought it was a bit of a bargain. There is also a little bar where you can get water and alcoholic drinks that all seemed reasonably priced. During the day we went to various bars and restaurants around Malgrat which were not too badly priced and decent enough. Entertainment There was some form of entertainment in the bar area most nights but we only took those in a few times. Singers, flamenco guitar etc. it is tailored to adults and not kids so if you want kids entertainment you may not find this place to be for you. Clientele This place is very popular with the Dutch and Spanish it would seem. We spoke to a number of Dutch visitors who had come via various bus trips, and it was generally people of the older generation. They were all very lovely people and we liked their company, but it’s definitely an English minority at this hotel, which we did not mind at all. Things to do Here are some recommendations for things to do that we (or others) enjoyed. - Ride Tricu Tricu (Road Train): this is the little road train that runs right outside the hotel. It is less than 5 euros each for a return trip and we used it as a way to see Malgrat early on in our holiday. Pay close attention to the running times as we got caught out once and had to walk back as it stops for a siesta during the day! It does a figure of 8 so passes the hotel in two different directions. It has 3 stops to get off at. - Santa Susannah Tuesday Market: there are various markets in the town but we went to the Tuesday one. Take the train from the station at Malgrat for less than 3 euros each. The market is right outside the station. We grabbed some cocktails in a local bar and soaked up the atmosphere of the lovely little promenade area. - Aruba Bar: visit the bar on the beach front for some Sangria and a bite to eat. It is right on the beach, the staff are friendly and it’s a great spot to soak up the sun. The beach area is also really nice in Malgrat and offers a nice walk along it if you want to have a stroll. - Cafe Real: visit the Argentinian cafe real for some amazing cakes and drinks. We hopped on Tricu Tricu and got off at the little square with the beautiful monastery, but it is also easily walkable. It really is worth the trip for some tasty treats. - Visit Blanes: we didn’t get to visit here but it came recommended by other guests. It is an old style Spanish fishing town and again is easy to get to using the train from Malgrat. We will visit it when we return to this area (likely Santa Susannah) next year.. .

. Me gustó todo, la gente de la recepción excelente, los del comedor y la gente de limpieza eran muy amables . Todos facilitadores a la hora de alguna duda.. No tengo nada que decir negativamente..

Top lokatie met voortreffelijk eten, gezellig, familiair en met zeezicht.. ook goed voor de rust... Alles..kamer met zeezicht en voortreffelijke maaltijden incl. Familiaire atmosfeer, kleinschalig ons kent ons.. persoonlijke touch. Er was bijna geen .entertainment wel gezellige bar en wanneer er bv. optreden was, was er weinig publiek.. mensen zaten buiten of binnen zonder er avond wat was. Of gingen bij andere hotels dans of show als Rosa niets had...

Je retournerai probablement à cet hôtel. Les repas sont bien cuisinés, des entrées aux desserts. Certains plats peuvent être un peu trop salés et certaines crèmes un peu trop sucrées mais c'est mon appréciation. Globalement, j'ai été très satisfait de la nourriture pour sa variété et sa qualité. L'hôtel est propre et les chambres sont dans un style moderne. Le personnel est à l'écoute de nos besoins. La salle de sport de l'hôtel comporte une table de massage, ce qui peut être intéressant pour les couples qui s' adonnent à ce plaisir . Proximité de la gare Renfe, de la plage, de commerces, d'une salle de fitness (200 m de l'hôtel) qui accueille les clients à la journée.. Les bancs et sièges dans la salle de sport (musculation) sont instables car il manque des vis de fixation..
