Disappointing staff when it comes to problem-solving. . When I arrived, I found out there was a mix-up with my reservation. The receptionist was absolutely unhelpful—she kept saying it wasn’t her problem, that I had to sort it out with Booking.com, or better yet, just pay extra to "fix" the issue. Even after the first intervention from Booking.com support, she still refused to help. In the end, a Booking.com consultant from Singapore sorted everything out in my favor! If he could do it, then the receptionist definitely could have as well. I wasted the first few hours of my trip to Barcelona on stressful calls and back-and-forth discussions—not exactly how you want to start your vacation. The rest of the stay was fine, but first impressions matter, so that’s why I’m giving a low rating..

Thank you Prinsa. During the time I was staying, there was renovation work going on and there was a lot of noise. I spoke to the receptionist (whose name was Princesa) and arranged to go to another branch of this hotel, (Sunotel club central) which is a four-star hotel. Thank you to Princesa, she is really kind, attentive and extremely lovely girl. Princesa even arranged a taxi so that we could move around easily.. .

The service was accommodating, the location is at a walking distance to many attractions and transportation. Would book. The metro and train station are all at a walkable distance. The cleaning service were well attentive. The buffet, though small, was very good and delicious. Very good stay overall.. The bed and pillows weren’t very comfortable, or at least to my liking. It was a bit pricey, but I did go during the holiday months..

Superb. Great location, near public transport (metro and bus) and plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance. Room was cleaned every day and towels changed every other day. Breakfast had plenty of variety of bread, pastries, fruit and veg options, cheeses and cured meats and even cooked eggs and bacon. It was my birthday and the staff left a card and a sweet treat, it was really lovely!. The window didn't shut completely so you could hear a bit of the outside noise, but we still managed to sleep ok..

Great staff , accommodations are terrible. The only reason its not a 1 star is the staff was very friendly and nice Day 1 our room was beside the elevator , you could hear and feel everything , the bed was and old mattress with no topper so you felt all the springs . If you moved a bit it felt like you would fall as it was very unstable . The showers were so dangerous the water temp would fluctuate pn its own from scolding hot to ice bath making it impossible to shower. They were able to change our room and it wasn't much better . The rooms wall are so thin you hear everything in the halls and rooms beside you . The bed was a bit better but heres the fun part , the shower was loaded with black mold , the corners the tiles the ceiling all of it it was inhabitable .The shower temp was not as bad but still had moments of boiling water . All the baseboards were just so water logged , the ac was broken and stuck on its coldest temp . All in all we would never recommend to stay there after night 2 we developed a cough and since leaving have started to feel better Pictures also make it look much bigger , everything is much smaller. .
