Um this hotel is in France, not Blighty. The hotel is basic yet clean, functional , and staff are friendly.
I am perplexed at the numerous reviews of people complaining that the staff don’t speak English or if they do it is very basic. Here’s a tip, if you stay in a non English speaking country then don’t expect people to speak English. That way you won’t be unnecessarily disappointed.
If French people roasted a hotel in Hertfordshire for not having staff fluent in French, wouldn’t that expectation be a bit ludicrous?
If you want English speakers everywhere then either stay at home or go to Benidorm. There you can enjoy your sausages and beans, your ‘proper’ tea, your chicken nuggets and chips, whilst reading the latest news from esteemed publications such as the Sun and Daily Mail. The British Empire no longer exists and the rest of the world has long since moved on. And that’s no bad thing.. .

Good for one night to get your head down somewhere. Great location, nice and clean.. Group of school children on a trip staying across the hotel. They spent their night knocking on peoples doors and running away then we were woken up very early by their teacher banging loudly on their doors and shouting to wake them up..

A cheap base for Disneyland Paris. This is a cheaper option near to transport links for Disneyland Paris. Rooms are basic. Walls are like paper - you hear everything.
Need better pillows.

Fine for what you pay. We stayed here as a family of 5 (kids aged 13, 9 and 7) for one night after a day in Paris and before we headed off to Disney the next day. The room was spacious with a double bed, bunk beds and a third bed over the double bed. It was very basic though, 1 pillow each, no tea or coffee making facilities and a really basic, tiny shower. We were literally only here for one night and we arrived very late and left early. We had breakfast which is very basic, croissants, bread, yoghurts and cereal. It was fine for what we used it for but I couldn’t stay here for any longer due to the lack of in room facilities and the basic shower.. .
