. The Erboy Hotel is properly located if you want to have a walking distance to Hagia Sophia, Cistern Basilica and Topkapi Palace, approximately 10min walk.
The area seems quiet and safe. Restaurants are also within vicinity. It is also near the Tram Station though we did not ride.
Finally staff are friendly and helpful. The included breakfast buffet is delicious as well.. .

. The staff of this hotel could not do enough for us. Even though we arrived at 10:00 AM they had a room available for us. We told them that we needed to find a place to get a covid test and they called to have someone come to the hotel to perform the test. While we were waiting for that the guest relations person spent 20 minutes with us talking about the hotel and things we could see and do. We told them that we had to leave before breakfast in the morning and they arranged for snack boxes for us. They arranged for the car to take to the airport in the morning.
All of this for an extremely reasonable price.
Oh and by the way, the hotel is very near to all of the top sites.

. Stayed there 5 days, in September 23. Nice updated hotel. Location is superb. Staff is polite, welcoming and all speak English. Rooms are on smaller side but sufficient. Mattress was comfortable, no noises or smells. Short walking distance to restaurants, historic sights, public transport. Would recommend this place, and I would stay there again.. .

Group of three stay. We booked the hotel for group of three, we booked 3 single beds in one room. room was spacious enough. This hotel was in an extremely convenient location, close to public transport and restaurants. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally hospitable. The breakfast they offered was by far the best we had during our time in Turkey. Highly recommend this hotel.. .

A wonderful experience near Sultanahmet downtown. Well located Hotel, a couple of blocks near Sultanahmet top sights as the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Basílica Cisterna.
The rooms are great, an excellent bufett breakfast.
I totally recommend Erboy Hotel in Istambul for families or solo trip. .
