Dated hotel with dated attitude. We booked a room with a balcony but got one with nothing more than a narrow ledge. 2 sets of old patio doors that were hard to open and a 'balcony' that was no more than 30cm deep. Ridiculous. Went to reception and stood and waited for the nice man on reception who was away from the desk dealing with somethibg else whilst an older lady sat in the office playing on her phone and ignoring us. When the receptionist returned we asked if we could move to one of the rooms that we could see had proper balconies, with a table and chairs and were told that these are terraces, not balconies. We could move but would have to pay a supplement. The hotel was nearly empty. Plenty of rooms available but customer satisfaction is clearly not important. We refused to pay but made our feelings known.
Overall hotel is clean but dated. Beds comfortable, bathroom big but shower in the bath, sideways on, so no space. Nice bed sheets but no duvets, just manky brown blankets. This is 2023 not 1973 and a ledge with railings is still a ledge, not a balcony! . .

We had a very impressed with the hotel except for the one problem with the dog not being able to stay in the room withou. Near the beach. Excellent breakfast, lovely large bedroom and bathroom. The Restaurant was only open for breakfast (seasonal opening) we had to find a restaurant of which there were many however we were travelling with our dog and he could not be left in the room on his own (this was not mentioned on the web site). So we had to find a restaurant which would take a dog - not easy;.
