. The rooms are nicely renovated with a modern feel, clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The room was small but suited our needs nicely. We were worried about the smell of cigarette smoke but we didn’t notice any.
However, the room looked nothing like the picture. The room also looks quite large in the picture but after seeing the building, I doubt there’s a room that large.
You have to walk up a narrow and steep curved staircase to get to the room so that may limit some guests physically
There’s a nice restaurant with good food and friendly staff right beside the hotel.
The hotel was hard to find in the dark because it’s just a hole in the wall but the staff from the neighboring restaurant were happy to help
We arrived later than expected and the staff were waiting for us, which was nice. Beyond that, we didn’t see them much.
If you have a car, parking is difficult all around the area. There’s free parking nearby after 9pm and until 9am.
The only real downside is that they haven’t installed p-traps so the smell of sewage in the bathroom is pretty bad.. .
