A reasonable stay with a couple of snags. The reviews already posted would indicate the reception staff are unhelpful or unfriendly, which wasn't the case when we checked in. Our room was a good size and came with a bath (of sorts, it measured 130cm across, I'm 6ft0ins and had my kneesa around my ears). That said, the shower it came with was very good and came with wash gel. The room we had came with an interconnecting door, which was very off putting when the kids in that room started trying the handle. The door; and we were later to find the walls; were paper thin and we could even hear someone unzipping their trousers.. whilst I initially asked for a different room, the place was full and I soon realised the walls were essentially cardboard thick. The room was comfortable and had what you might expect. The bed was very comfortable and the cleaning staff were exceptional. Breakfast was served in their dining room which didn't get overcrowded in spite of the hotel being full. Whilst the food was plentiful, the cooked items were very often cold (3 days out of 4). There is a good selection of continental cheese and meats and accompanying salad items as well as cerial. There wasn't an option for other items such as omelette or porridge etc). The location is very good for the centre of everything and very close to a underground station. Whilst it looks a little seedy at night, I felt perfectly safe and there's loads of police in and out of the streets most of the time. I didn't see any problems during our stay. Whilst the hotel has a few issues (wall thickness mainly) it was well priced. The bar in the lobby area didn't cost the earth either which is usually a good sign their trying to look after you and not so much the shareholders. I would recommend it to you, just don't expect everything to be perfect.. .

Albert was helpful but the stay was uncomfortable.. Albert was helpful and listened to our complaint.. On the first night there was loud music and noise all night. I called the reception 3 times around 12.30am and around 2-3am. The receptionist came to our room and agreed he could hear the noise but was unable to locate where it was coming from. It kept going until 6am. This meant we were unable to sleep all night. In addition both our room 312 and my mother’s room 316 had a terrible toilet/sewage smell which travelled into the bedroom. It felt very uncomfortable throughout the stay. Both these issues were raised with Albert and he agreed to a 50% discount of the stay for the first night for room 312. We would still like compensation for the terrible smell in both rooms..

Don't book a economy room. Booked a package deal via EasyJet had booked an economy room which unfortunately was terrible a box room with no window overlooking a stairwell could not spend the next 3 days in there so requested to change this came at a price an extra £155 pound but worth it for the extra space and comfort , breakfast was average but enough to start the day , barman on duty was Friendly and made a good pina colada If your looking for good restaurant I highly recommend la poma on the ramablas we ate there 2 nights running. .

ok. George the bartender was the best thing there!. Room was very small. Foot of the bed to the wall was only 40 cms. which had a tv on ,so to get to back and forth across the room was very difficult as to not bang your back on.
