Accessible and friendly staff!. Arrived at the hotel, and was shown to our room which was a double instead of the twin room we had booked. The staff member was very apologetic and showed us to the hotel across the road which is owned by the same people. They gave us a choice of 2 rooms each with 3 beds. We were impressed to be able to have the choice of room and were pleased to not be asked to move when another twin became available. You have to give your key in at the desk when you leave the room but I saw this as a positive - you can't lose it if you don't have it! I would recommend staying here based on price and location - it was very good!. .

Basic but ok. The keys need to be picked up from a hotel across the road which is not obvious from the website. The room was small but very clean, with daily room service. Budget hotel - exactly what i expected for the price. Excellent location.. .

Get what you pay for. Difficult to find, does not in any way resemble a hotel, entry through a metal door directly from pavement. Would not describe as a hotel. More a tiny bedsit toom. No tea or coffee making facilities in room. Staff not often present, friendly upon arrival and throughout but with limited English. Very noisy as building works being carried out on premises which started with very loud and vibrating drilling etc at around 7.30am directly outside our room. Cleanliness appeared satisfactory upon first inspection. However when stripping bed sheets on final morning we found a pair of dirty socks from a previous guest sandwiched between the sheet a blanket. So obviously the sheets were not fresh for our stay, yuk!! Only plus was the location which was within easy access of Gothic Quarter, waking distance from La Rambla. . .

Great location ... poor accommodations. Tiny room with barely enough room to walk around the double bed and it's terrible mattress and pillows. There was a leak in the ceiling in the bathroom.. .

Great location, reasonable price. The hotel is in a residential building and is very dark, so does not make for a great welcoming. The hotel is on the first floor and the lift is very small, we were ok as we only had hand luggage but if you had a large case then only 1 person at a time would be able to use the lift. We stayed in room 1 which overlooked the street, the room needs a fresh coat of paint and the shower cubical leaked so had caused the door frame to rot, but on saying this the room was clean and the beds very comfortable, with clean fresh bed linen. The shower was very strong and the water was hot. No room service was available at the weekends but you could help yourself to clean towels and toilet paper if needed. The wi-fi was very good and included in the price. The location of the hotel is superb, it is 1 min walk from the Metro, a 5 mins stroll to Las Ramblas and surrounded by bars and restaurants. The Pl. Catalunya is a 6 minutes walk which is where the Aerobus stop is for transport back to the airport. For me the hotel is very reasonably priced for the location and when i am away i am not there to stay in my room but to see all the sites the city had to offer. To sum up, if you want posh then this is not the hotel for you but for the price it was well worth it. The hotel manager was very welcoming and always on hand. My only thing would be that the rooms could benefit from a kettle to make a hot drink with.. .

Close to the rambla and many boutiques . Perfect place for someone or a couple who want to stay near the rambla and appreciate the life in the gotic quarter. This is a little 1 1/2. . .

Great value hotel. The air conditioning single room was a big advantage in the hot July, room is clean, and daily room service (except in weekends) , good WiFi, hotel location is fantastic, elevator, safe and secure building, good size cupboard, wonderful staff, especially Hilario, he was absolutely helpful and cheerful, I only give 4/5 not 5/5 because there is no refrigerator and kettle . .
