Disappointing. . I made this booking for my family to stay at your hotel, and I must express my disappointment with the lack of clear information provided during the booking process. When selecting the room, there was no indication of the floor location, despite my request for a room on an upper floor. However, after my booking was confirmed, I received a message from the hotel management stating that the room I had selected was on the ground floor. To move to an upper floor, I was told I would need to cancel my current booking (which was non-refundable) and make a new reservation for a deluxe room, with no option for an upgrade.
This situation is frustrating, as I was willing to pay extra for a better room, but the only solution presented was to cancel and lose money. If there had been clearer information or an option to upgrade without financial loss, this could have been resolved easily.
Additionally, when my guests—middle-aged individuals—arrived and were dissatisfied with the ground-floor room, I reached out to the hotel. Thankfully, the issue was resolved, but the larger concern remains: why is there no clear information about room locations (such as specifying ground-floor vs. upper-floor rooms), which other hotels typically provide in their listings? I notice this information has now been added to the listing, but this should have been made available at the time of booking.
I hope that in the future, this issue can be addressed by providing more transparency in your listings and offering an upgrade option during the booking process to avoid unnecessary frustration for your guests.
